Job description
Finance director, as a part of senior management team, contributes to the sustainability and general success of the Organization by managing organizational finances in a highly expert and effective manner.



As a Finance director you will be in charge for:

preparing yearly budget of the Organization and monitoring its realization;
drafting periodical and yearly financial reports for the senior management and organizational regulatory bodies;
managing preparation of the financial projections and budgets per projects;
assuring accuracy and timely preparation of the financial reports for the project donators;
monitoring payments per source of financing, managing cash flow through internal financial software and preparing proposals for theirs improvement;
documenting all financial transactions of the Organization;
coordinating cooperation with external accountant and preparation of the yearly balance;
continuous analysis of the financial operations in order to improve cost control and financial operations of the Organization;
preparing documentation and coordination of the yearly external audit, as well as, project audits as needed;
compliance with the relevant legislation in the scope of duties;
drafting and maintaining procedures, guidelines and forms in the scope of responsibility.


Our Finance director should have:

university degree (Faculty of Economy);
at least 7 years of work experience in managing finances of the organization;
work experience in financial management in the non-profit sector (will be consider as an advantage) and/or knowledge of financial management in non-profit organizations;
excellent knowledge of project financing;
controlling, reporting and strategic planning work experience;
sound knowledge of the local finance, accounting and tax legislation;
excellent English both written and spoken;
advanced PC skills (MS Excel mandatory)
pronounced work ethic, integrity and trust;
proven leadership skills;
a good understanding of internal and external clients’ needs and ability to provide timely and expert answers and solutions in order to maximize their satisfaction;
professional credibility and critical approach to work in order to ensure high quality standards in the field of competence;
enthusiasm, proactivity and commitment to work.
