THE ROLE

We are recruiting a new member of our Marketing team within Business Unit Gourmet for the position of Brand Building Manager who will be in charge of building our premium brand Bakina tajna / Granny’s secret as customer’s and consumer’s favorite on regional and international markets.

Brand Building Manager translates brand strategy for the local market and manages brand(s) across market(s) and strongly collaborates with other members of marketing team, as well as works closely with SBU Sales team and with Brand Operations Managers on BTL activities to deliver the mission of brand/category strategy. He/She will have opportunity to work in an very dynamic environment for the brand which is recognised as potential for placement on the internatonal market.

What you will do:

Understands local consumer and shopper,

Understands barriers to trial and repurchase and ensure that these are tackled through a combination of product development and communication,

Understands local legislation specific demands for product category (if any), i.e. if certification/notification/authorisation is obligatory to put the product on the local market,

Uses insights to drive the development of brands positioning, communication and big ideas,

Follows competitors activities on the market and direct a rapid competitor response where appropriate,

Develops and executes annual brand plan (ABP), based on inputs from developer and shopper (i.e. general brand strategy) and in line with local consumer and shopper needs,

Oversees implementation of brand plans on all markets,

Leads and manages execution and implementation of all elements of marketing mix on the market and focus on achieving ROI,

Product – responsibility for product adaptation on local market (labels and claims are included) and implementing launch plan on the market. Responsibility for creation and coordination of activities for producing “promo” products on the market,

Price: Based on general strategy inputs, translate the pricing level on local market,

Place: Based on general strategy inputs, translate the distribution guidelines on local market,

Defines Obligatory assortment (OA) for the market,

Communication: responsible for adaptation of all master materials, for confirmation of 360 media plans and ensures that communication is aligned with local market legislation (e.g. national codex of responsible communication practices),

Leads and manages consumer journey touchpoints,

Creates of all BTL consumer activations and development of tailor-made actions,

Drives the activation of effective shopper plans,

Directs a rapid competitor response where appropriate,

Ensures that brand budget are met, responsibility for brand(s) profitability,

Monitors and reports on effectiveness of communication and promotion activities,

Strong collaboration and support to SBU sales,

Collaboration with BOM on BTL activities,

Managing external agencies,

Proud ambassador of our brands by engaging our audience, creating experience and demonstrate brand behaviours, internally and externally.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Marketing or related fields
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing with demonstrated success, preferably in the FMCG
Language: English proficient/excellent
Consumer-oriented approach
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Proactive, solutions-oriented
Strong team orientation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once, superior time management
Adaptable to frequent change while handling multiple projects
Experience in developing consumer connectivity through exploitation of digital channels
